Strawberries: Strawberries are rich in the essential nutrients vitamin C, potassium, folic acid, and fiber. One cup of fresh strawberries contains 160 percent of the daily recommended quantity of vitamin C, for only 50 calories. The health benefits of strawberries include improved eye care, proper brain function, relief from high blood pressure, arthritis, gout and various cardiovascular diseases.
Orange juice: It is widely considered one of the healthiest beverages because of its wide range of health benefits, which include its ability to boost immune system function, reduce signs of aging, protect against cancer, boost cellular repair and metabolism, detoxify the body, improve circulation, improves blood pressure, reduces inflammation, and lowers cholesterol levels.
Pineapples: Spiny on the outside, sweet on the inside, pineapples are one fantastic fruit. Pineapples contain high amounts of vitamin C and manganese. Like many other fruits and vegetables, pineapple contains dietary fiber, which is essential in keeping you regular and in keeping your intestines healthy. But unlike many other fruits and veggies, pineapple contains significant amounts of bromelain, an enzyme that breaks down protein, possibly helping digestion.

Matthew Nester of W.H. Rhodes Elementary states, “Being a teacher comes with challenges every day, from the germs that students spread to a lack of focus in the classroom and during testing. Using On Guard, in the classroom, cuts down on the normal toxins of cleaners in the class and keeps germs down at the same time. I also use peppermint on a daily basis to help with increasing oxygen to the brain. During testing, I put out peppermint and wild orange to support brain function and to help keep my sleepy students awake.”
Abbas Meamarbashi, of the National Center for Biotechnology Information, has confirmed that Peppermint essential oil supports peak respiratory flow and therefore also the supply of oxygen to the brain, giving merit to the idea that this oil would support keeping a sleepy student awake.
Furthermore, adding Rosemary essential oil to the already powerful combination above, has been shown to support long-term memory function as well. Robert Tisserand, of the Tisserand Institute, completed a series of tests utilizing rosemary essential oil and found a 60-75% increase in subjects remembering to do things in comparison to those that were not exposed to the oil. Further studies showed that the oil also increases alertness and supports long-term memory function.
The best route? Create a specialized roller-bottle for your children including Citrus Bliss, Peppermint, and Rosemary essential oils for them to utilize during school and while studying to support memory, focus, and provide uplift to the spirits. Or use a diffuser in the home before children head off to school. Teachers can diffuse where policy allows or utilize a room spray made of these same three oils plus water in a glass spray bottle. Of course all students and teachers alike can utilize this blend each day to support learning and positive behaviors.
