The easiest overall approach that I can give to each of you, would be to stick to a strict Paleo style diet but without the chicken and pork. The book "Against All Grain" by Danielle Walker should be your go-to guide with the additional recommendations in this post. Eating this type of diet not only helps with weight loss and overall energy, but also massively lowers inflammation in the body. Why is this important? Inflammation tends to be the root cause of most of our daily gripes and pains. Eliminate the inflammation and feel great!
The key? Don't get overwhelmed! Slowly change over your pantry and start switching meals. Create meal plans each week so you are never caught hungry and in a hurry! This method is not costly nor is it time consuming, but it does require pre-planning of your meals. I will try to list bi-weekly dinner ideas on this blog to help you along but you'll see that once you get on a roll, creativity will just flow into the pot!
